You will need a few sets of dumbbells, ideally a lighter one for upper body work and a heavier one for lower body work. Progressing to heavier weights means you are getting stronger which is great news!
Occasionally we will use resistance bands and a bench or chair. -
Workouts will be adapted to all fitness levels. We will use progressive overload through speed and resistance to help you get stronger over time.
From time to time extra classes will be offered for beginners to learn the basic techniques of strength training. -
Beatrice recommends following the three main workouts during the week. You can then add in extra mobility and flexibility flows if you like. Equally if you prefer, you can pick your own workout from the library and do these at your own pace.

Live workouts will be held via Zoom on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.00am Irish time (GMT). The zoom link will be available via the app beforehand. Recordings will be available in the app 90 minutes after the end of the live workout.

The most important factor here is consistency. After 2 weeks you will feel proud of yourself for starting. After 4 weeks you will see changes in your body and mental health. In 6 weeks others will notice changes in your energy and your body.

You have the option of having your own personalised macros added to your app dashboard. Why not try out some of the delicious recipes? If you have a MyFitnessPal account you can link this to the app too in order to track your meals. Want to take it a step further? Weight loss is all about nutrition. You can have your macros adapted to weight loss, and if you are consistent in following these, weight loss is definitely possible. The most important factor is consistency and patience.

Great news - you can have healthy habits added to your daily app dashboard if you wish to track them (i.e. hydration, sleep etc). Just send a DM to Beatrice via the app to let us know. You will also be able to link other fitness trackers such as Fitbit, Garmin and Apple Watch to the app.

We will be sad to see you go, but yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. To do this, go to https://beatricecaffrey.trainerize.com and log into your account with your app login. From there you can then change your payment settings. You will have access to the app until the end of your last billing cycle.
