Beatrice Caffrey
Transitioning from a dynamic career in international hospitality to a dedicated mother, Beatrice embraced health and wellness out of personal necessity and a deep-rooted desire for transformation. Like so many other women, she navigated the complexities of perimenopause in her mid-40s, a stage that we, women, encounter with unique challenges. She experienced common symptoms such as increased aches, disrupted sleep patterns, gradual weight gain and even an increase in her blood pressure to alarming levels.
In a quest similar to many women in midlife, Beatrice initially believed that increasing cardio workouts was the solution: she actively pursued running, participating in numerous road and trail events across Ireland, seeking to improve her health. However, frequent ankle and hip injuries, coupled with limited improvement in her overall health, led Beatrice to the realisation that a different approach was necessary. Reaching a turning point, she understood the need for significant changes to achieve meaningful health improvements.
From a diet that was already rich in vegetables, Beatrice learnt how to optimise macronutrients in order facilitate weight loss, an approach she now uses with many of her clients. The pivotal transformation continued when she embraced resistance training, a beneficial approach for women at this life stage. Not only did the aches and pains disappear, she also successfully lost over 12 kilos, improved her posture, reduced her blood pressure to healthy levels and gained a new level of energy and vitality that didn’t seem to be possible during menopause. And let’s not forget the much improved levels of mood and confidence, a result of both the health diet and the training.
Driven by an avid interest in health and wellness, Beatrice pursued and achieved several qualifications, including Health & Nutrition Coach (International Institute of Health & Nutrition), Wellness Coach (Mayo Clinic) and Personal Trainer (Elite Academy). All these in the aim of giving her clients a multi-faceted approach when it comes to nutrition, fitness and overall health and well-being.
Today, Beatrice Caffrey is successfully coaching women to obtain the same results with lifelong healthy habits whilst still enjoying life.
“My mission is to support and empower women, helping them reclaim their vitality and strength, especially during the transformative midlife years and beyond.”
